SERVICES

The community garden is a place for gardeners to come together, work on their plots and share their harvests. We host various activities throughout the year to teach the community about organic eating and gardening. We have financial assistance for members of the community who would like to have a plot to garden.

HISTORY

The garden was established in October of 2008 and became an official 501 C3 in January of 2019.

STARTER VEGGIE PATCH

Garden patches vary in sizes and are available on a first come first serve basis. There is a nominal fee assesed to all gardeners that is used to offset the cost of the utilities.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Our local gardeners are dedicated to community outreach and will take the opportunity to provide free information to the community. Outdoor classes for children from local schools are seasonally provided.
